Cancellation Policy

The short version

You can cancel anytime in two clicks from inside the Ping extension. No phone call, no email exchange, no retention dance. After you cancel you keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period - then you're back on the free plan with all your data intact.

How to cancel

  1. Open the Ping extension dashboard.
  2. Click Settings in the top-right header.
  3. Scroll to the Subscription section.
  4. Click Cancel subscription.
  5. Confirm in the dialog that appears.

Your cancellation is processed immediately via Razorpay. You'll see a green confirmation in the extension and receive a confirmation email at the address tied to your account.

What happens after you cancel

  • Right now: No further charges. Razorpay's recurring mandate is revoked.
  • Until the end of your current billing period: You keep full Pro access. All Pro features remain unlocked. You paid for this period - we're not taking it back.
  • After the period ends: Your account automatically reverts to the free plan. The Pro features lock, but everything else stays the same.
  • Your data: Campaigns, templates, signature, tracking history, follow-up sequences - all intact. We don't delete anything.
  • Email sending: Still works, with the free tier daily limit (50 emails per day for personal Gmail, 100 for Workspace).

Can I reactivate after cancelling?

Razorpay subscriptions are one-way: once cancelled, they cannot be uncancelled or resumed. If you change your mind, you have two options:

  • Wait until your access ends, then click Upgrade in the extension to start a new subscription. This is the cleanest path - no double-billing.
  • Subscribe again immediately, which creates a new subscription that overlaps with your existing grace period (you would pay for time you already have access to). We don't recommend this path. Email us first if you genuinely need overlapping coverage and we'll figure out the best way forward.

If you forgot to cancel before a renewal

If you intended to cancel before a renewal but missed the date, email us within 7 days of the renewal charge with a clear explanation. See our refund policy for what we can and can't do.

Cancelling vs deleting your account

These are two different things:

  • Cancelling your subscription: stops billing. You revert to the free plan but your account, data, and history are all preserved.
  • Deleting your account:wipes everything. Available from Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete my account. If you have an active subscription, deleting your account also cancels it automatically. Soft-deleted for 30 days, then permanently erased.

What if cancellation fails in the extension?

If the cancel button shows an error (very rare - usually a Razorpay outage or network issue), you have two fallbacks:

  • Wait a minute and try again.
  • Email contact@getping.dev with your account email and we will cancel manually within 24 hours (business days). We will not let you stay subscribed against your will.
